Pat, in her home studio, about to sign a finished commissioned painting. The painting is of the American River behind Rio Americano High School, along the levee. It was done in the morning with a strong eastern light and a lot of sky reflections showing in the water. The focal point is the beautiful multicolored shrub on the bank.
